IMPORTANT NOTE:

Its important to understand that these are the recommended specifications. Below these, Forecast 5 will not operate efficiently.

Forecast 5 sits atop a SQL database, and this database, whilst very efficient – is also power-hungry.

So, as your forecast – and the underlying database – grows in size, please ensure you provide the right tools for the job; additional resources such as more ram, improved disc access speed, faster hard discs (like ssd) and the higher specification SQL server editions all help to ensure Forecast 5 runs smoothly.
